Win a $20,000 Wedding
at Tacoma Art Museum
Unique, interactive Bridal Bash is just the icing on the
cake
TACOMA, WA – Tacoma ArtMuseum will be hosting two unique events tailored for brides and grooms on
September 16 and 30. On September 16, teams of two will compete to
win a $20,000 wedding at Tacoma Art Museum. The grand prize includes everything
from the wedding dress and photography to flowers and a cake. On September 30,
the museum will host a Bridal Bash – a one-stop-shopping experience for brides
and grooms filled with local vendors who can help plan their wedding.
Couples participating in
the “Create a Photobooth and Win a Wedding” contest will compete against
one another to make the most creative photobooth backdrops that they can.
Participants will be given the materials for the backdrop upon arrival at 10 am
on September 16. They will then race against the clock to make their best
photobooth backdrop. All entries will be voted upon and the winning couple will
receive a $20,000 wedding to be held at the museum on September 30, 2012. A
local wedding planner will help the lucky couple get everything in place before
the big day. Entry fee for the contest is $15 per couple, $10 per person, and
includes admission to Bridal Bash.
Everything necessary for
the winning couple’s wedding will be provided to them by Bridal Bash vendors,
including a dress and tuxedo, a photographer and videographer, cake, flowers,
chairs and tables, and more. The winning couple will also be able to consult
with a wedding planner in the two weeks prior to the big night. The ceremony
will be held from 7-9 pm on the night of Bridal Bash for the winning couple and
up to 100 of their guests.
Bridal Bash is a unique, interactive experience
for brides, grooms, friends, and family. The special day will feature a number
of Tacoma’s top wedding vendors, all eager to help couples make their wedding
dreams come true. The event will run from 2 until 9 pm in the lobby of TacomaArt Museum.
The first 25 brides or
grooms to purchase tickets to Bridal Bash at www.TacomaArtMuseum.org/BridalBash will receive swag bags valued at more
than $100, each filled with a variety of wedding goodies. Advance purchase tickets
are available for $15 per couple, $10 per person.
Tickets purchased at the door will be $20 per couple, $15 per person.
